Senior Living Options

From a few hours of caregivers in the comfort of your home all the way to 24hr care in a specialized facility, your sage advisor will explain each option and help your family determine which one is the best for your loved ones unique care needs.

Home Care

What is In-Home Care?

Homecare is caregivers provided in the comfort of your home. From a few hours a week to 24hrs a day, there is an option to fit your unique need. These are recommendations we are particularly pleased to be able to share, since when given a choice, most seniors would prefer to remain in their own homes as long as possible.

Independent Living

What is Independent Living Care?

Independent Living refers to simplifying life with an easy-to-maintain private apartment or home within a community of other like-minded seniors in an engaging environment best suited to the individual. As the name implies, Independent Living is just that: the ability to maintain one’s residence & lifestyle, but often with tasks like weekly cleaning & daily cooking taken care of if or when one chooses. This also provides peace of mind that one can age in place, with living assistance readily available should the future require it.

Assisted Living

What is Assisted Living Care?

Assisted Living provides help taking care of oneself on a widely sliding scale based on the individual’s needs in a cost-effective and dignified living environment. Clients receive help with everyday tasks and often some health care in a residential community that suits them best. We like to emphasis an Assisted Living philosophy that honors the resident’s independence, i.e. “we will help you take care of yourself” over “we will take care of you.”

Assisted Living Facilities are for people needing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) but wishing to live as independently as possible, for as long as possible. Assisted living facilities offer help with ADLs such as eating, bathing, dressing, laundry, housekeeping, and assistance with medications.

Adult Family Home

What is Adult Family Home Care?

Adult Family Homes are more of a typical house setting, often in a 6-bed home  providing a family-like environment. Owned and operated by a licensed provider. These homes often provide a greater level of specialized care, ideal for more delicate situations and can often include greater care needs then the average community option. These homes provide a smaller ratio to client/caregivers as the focus more on care then activities.

Memory/Alzheimer's Care

What is Memory / Alzheimer's Care?

Memory Care is a residential setting designed especially for individuals with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia and cognitive impairments. Memory Care environments focus on the safety of the resident and offer the extra specialized care required as the disease progresses beyond what many families can accommodate at home. Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia can be challenging, particularly for family caregivers who don’t have the necessary training or skill set required to handle a patient with this disease. All memory care facilities employ caregivers with specialized dementia training.

Respite Care

What is Respite Care?

Respite Care is short term care, with a stay often under 30 days. Whether it’s to provide the extra help needed coming out of an illness or medical procedure, or simply to offer the primary caregivers an opportunity to handle other life matters that may come up. Through Respite Care, we have you confidently covered when you seek temporary care for your family member or yourself.
